Rangers 2, Sabres 1 (Series tied 2-2)

BAMBINO: Man, the Blueshirts have been playing great hockey since Game 2 of this series. They should be up 3-1, but I will certainly take a 2-2 tie in the series heading back to Buffalo. The Rangers are definitely made of some strong stuff. They had an up and down season (mostly down) and then finished 17-6-5 en route to sweeping the Thrashers in the first round. Last year, they lost 10 in a row to end a mostly up season and then got swept by New Jersey in the first round. This year, they hit their stride when they acquired Sean Avery and haven't looked back. Jaromir Jagr has become a true Captain of this team. I had my doubts about his leadership, but he has proved he deserves the "C". I think they are for real. I am pumped. Buffalo is certainly a dangerous team. In no way will they hand the Blueshirts this series, but the way the Rangers are playing, it will be hard for anyone to beat them. The Rangers have to be ready for Game 5. It will be a severe hostile environment where the Buffalo "faithful" will be in desperation mode. The Sabres and their fans don't want to go back to Madison Square Garden in a do or die elimination game. So buckle up! It's going to be a great finish! LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
